One of my favourite places in Hamburg

Today’s photo:

One example of the amazing trees which adorn Hamburgs many parks and older neighbourhoods.  These are in Hirschpark - Deer Park – in Blankenese, an old-money town.  We used to go here often when the little red-haired girl was a lot younger so she could feed the deer which roam in a large pen.

Thanks Shadow – I really appreciate that. :-)

And thanks as well to Leah, Rositta, Nursemyra, J, Beaverboosh, Indie and anyone else who’s dropped by to comment during this blog’s three weeks of autopilot.

We all know what it’s like to return return from a much-needed vacation – you’ve helped make the transition back to reality a hell of a lot easier.

Hey, isn’t it your turn at scrabble?

Well, holy crap, guess what? I try to find Scrabulous on Facebook, and it says: We’re sorry, this application is not available to you. I hate to use that overused term, but WTF?

Just googled scrabulous restricted and there’s some flap about it being pulled… should have seen that coming, I guess.

Damn, and I had a winning streak going, didn’t I?

The banner photograph shows the town of Britannia Beach, BC, Canada, where I grew up. It's home. But I don't live there anymore.
